"Kiss, on 31 December, 1977, I think. Either that or Jerry Reed at North Carolina State Fair. I can't
remember which came first. I bought t-shirts at both of them!"

"Uninvolved."
If you weren't a music star what would you be?
"Ouch! I don't even want to think about it!"
What is your most treasured material possession?
"A Merle Haggard album cover he autographed for me when we opened up for him in 1998!"
What's the worst record you've ever made?
"I'll never tell!"
When did you last cry and why?
"A couple of months ago, around Christmas, I cried when I herad 'The Grand Tour' by George
Jones. That song still brings me to tears even after hearing it hundreds of times!"
What's your poison?
"Nicotine. Definitely. I'm constantly trying to give it up. Also Diet Coca-Cola and Miller beer."

"A pocket-knife and two pieces of gum."

"Myself."

"Nothing. I love hotels."

"My love for music and my unwillingness to dress like the majority of the human race."

"My ability to sleep twelve hours a night! Or my constant desire to be in complete control of
the stereo in our van!"

"Pasta with smoked gouda and spinach; also I'm known for my grilled cheese sandwich!"

"Looking stupider than I already do!"

"Any George Jones song, really."

"'Cool Hand Luke' with Paul Newman or the Steve Buscemi movie 'Trees Lounge'."

"Yes, primarily because my girlfriend, Ann Humphreys, is a poet. "The night isn't dark/The world

"Not really, no."

"A nice home-cooked meal, a couple of beers, and some good records!"

"being able to do what you want to do at least 50% of the time."

"I'm off to pay the gas bill!"
