Travis: Laid Back

Some of the nicest chaps in rock music.

Travis is getting big in England. With an excellent album, 'the man who...' and some superb singles, 'Driftwood' and 'Song Of The Year' 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?' they definitely deserve all this attention.
Singer Fran Healy first words in Amsterdam: "your country plays better football, but we can write better songs". Okay, I agree with that. During the concert Fran talks a lot: where the ideas for the songs came from, about football, and about 'lowering the gap'. Pretty interesting stories which caused a nice laid-back atmosphere in which listening to their songs almost becomes like a concert by friends in your room. The oldies, the singles, new songs, covers (Britney Spears' 'baby one more time' can sound like a serious rock song!) etc, everything was there to make the concert an enjoyable one.
