Kindamuzik doesn't usually review demo's but sometimes we are so enthusiastic, we have you tell you about it. Gloricz Jim is a band form Utrecht, The Netherlands and makes fine guitar songs. The demo (with very nice artwork) opens with a robotvoice introducing the band and the songs and a warning: "We are not responsible for any physical or emotional damage this CD may cause" No damage at all. The four songs lean forward to The Lemonheads and Daryll-Ann: good songs, nice melodies and harmonic voices. Leave You Sleeping contains some samples from the movie 'Kiss Me Deadly' and it makes you wonder: when a song this good appears on a demo-CD, what will appear on an official release? This January, Gloricz Jim supported for Novastar and guess who was best? By far. A promise for the future.
