Apart from releasing cutting-edge house and techno for years now, Peacefrog has been pushing the envelope in the "difficult electronics" area as well. And they continue that freshly beaten track, courtesy of the Skam family. Jello (alias for Darrell Fitton) creates, on the oddly titled title track, an eerie and estranged bastard-child of industrial trip-hop and the intelligent electro aesthetics of the mid-nineties UK sound. On the flip we find one of the godfathers of that sound, Autechre (here on remix duty), donating a spooky soundtrack piece where classic piano wanderings get to play the main part. Peacefrog keeps us on edge, and that's where we like it.
