Hell yeah! This is one of the heaviest albums I've heard in a long time. As if the devil himself is coming down to grab you by your throat! Comparisons with Pantera come to mind while listening to this album. A clone? Not at all. Main difference is that Raging Speedhorn are fronted by the two vocalistst Frank Regan and John Loughlin, who augment their attacks of sheer terror with tradeoffs most often found in rap groups. And that's what I like about this band from Corby, UK. The album starts with the 'raw as f*ck' 'Superscud', then continuing via 'Thumper' with the same heaviness, intensity and aggressiveness to the end of the album. But perhaps that's the only pity of the album; it doesn't sound diverse. After a few songs you've heard it. But for this album, that isn't important. Best song of the album is the current single 'Thumper'. I'd like to see this band playing live, as this literally is just a beast of an album.
