Sharaz isn't that known in Europe as he is in the American breakbeat underground. 'Switched' is a typical mixture of the Florida progressive sound and more British style nu skool. A style that is also used by Florida artists like Merlyn and JASP 182. Especially the instrumental version on the b-side is quite enjoyable thanks to the deep groovy bassline and throbbing nu skool basses. The dubology mixed is not very different but misses the ravelike progressive elements that make 'Switched' such an interesting track. Nice record to use in your progressive breaks deejay-set.
