Tricky | Mission Accomplished

'Mission Accomplished' is Tricky's first release for Epitaph's Anti label. The label change does not mean a style change however as 'Mission Accomplished' continues where 'Juxtapose', Tricky's previous album left of. This means a more straightforward hip-hop style than on previous albums, although the dark, sometimes almost industrial, beats are unmistakenly Tricky. 'Tricky Versus Lynx' is a bit different and the closest Tricky's ever come to straightforward hip-hop, with a fast(!) rap over much simpler and less layered beats than usual. It's by far the least interesting track of the EP. The other 3 tracks feature the usual 'voodoo rap' and show Tricky in good form, with his attack on Polygram, 'Divine Comedy' being the best track.
