MERCURY REV - GODDESS ON A HIWAY (v2)
Beetje lullig, maar schitterend popliedje van Amerikaans collectief dat ze, op een positieve manier natuurlijk, niet allemaal op een rij- tje lijkt te hebben. In Engeland werd hun nieuwste album Deserter's Songs uitgeroepen tot een van dé albums van het jaar en belandde de- ze single zelfs bijna in de top 40. Zie ik hier in Nederland niet zo snel gebeuren. Het b-kantje heet trouwens Ragtag en is een geweldig uit de bocht vliegend dixieland-deuntje. Listen to this track in Realaudio.
