Last week Lycos opened their MP3 Search Engine. This pretty good search engine tries to index all mpg files on the web. Experience has learned that using this search engine will provide you with a good starting point for your digital music. In al lot of cases complete albums were found using this index-machine. But note, that, in order to download a lot of files, you need to be lucky: most populair sites are unreachable because of to many users. Give it a try though...

Another great initiative on the internet is the Audio Alley Music Archive. These guys have put over 230 songs, 7 full length videos and playlists on their machine in RealAudio/Video. They basically focus on Alternative and Metal, what leads us to bands like these: Coal Chamber, Cannibal Corpse, Beastie Boys, Agnostic Front, Brotherhood Foundation, Fear Factory, (Hed)pe, Incubus, Marilyn Manson, The Urge and much more. The Music Alley supports multi-formats which means that you can connect to the sounds using the best connectivity possible for you. Next week the whole site will be updated with new tracks.

Think you know about music, huh? Well, try BCC Radio1's Music Quiz. Answer all ten questions correctly and you could win the Radio1 goodie bag...

Last but not least: Bring The Noise. This Internet Radio Station brings you all the latest in the area of HipHop by no one less then Chuck D and friends. He has his own weekly Countdown Show starting at 9pm EST. The station also features a "Strictly Hot Shit Mix Show" every wednesday, starting at 21:00 EST. And ofcourse (we don't expect anything less) they have a OnDemand section for all who missed the show live.
