Double Dealer raised out of a centuries old swordsman's companionship of the two Eastern Warlocks Norifumi Shima, the former guitarist of "Concerto Moon", and Takenori Shimoyama, vocalist of "Saber Tiger". These two defenders of the Japanese Speedmetal Empire decided to develop their musical dreams into a new band to put their spirits in form and substance. The first album shows in an elementary and highly technical way what kickass speedmetal is suppose to sound like. Vast and soled striking guitar solo' s, crashing primitive power riffs, together with the hymn-like vocals of a very spirited speedmetal singer. The track 'Deep Blue Sky' is a ballad alike song, with nice classic parts. I like the track 'Look at your face' for the main riff which they borrowed from "Dio", any person who reads this and can tell me the precise Dio number earns a cigar for good listening. What more can I say about this killer record, this is the way I want my speedmetal cooking! If you still believe that Metallica is a speedmetal band, you are in the wrong field with an Albanian tractor. May I also suggest to play this record as loud as possible in your car stereo and scorn those joys thou never shall posses!
