In the beginning they sounded a bit like Green Day, but Hell No!!...these kids are much better. Osker has a cool aggressive sound on their new album called 'Idle Will Kill'. Even the album lay out speaks for it. Straight to the point, no shit. And that for a two mans band with Devon Williams on vocals and guitar and Dave Benitiz on bass and backing vocals. Every song on the album has this 'man, there is something wrong with my voice' vocals. And that's what I like about this pretty new band. 'Idle Will Kill' is their second release in a great DIY style. Especially in songs as 'The body' and 'Kinetic' with a hard shrilling guitar. The other songs also don't lie about it. Bass and drums roll along the speakers. Osker's new release varies from fast songs like 'Back to you' and 'Going on the instincts' to some slower ones as 'Disconnect, Disconnect'. This album is not like other punk albums, which are on top now. But there is always space for changes. I would recommend 'Idle Will Kill' to all punk freaks. Open your eyes and choose a different path in your collection. If this band is new for you and you think these dudes kick it, try their previous release 'Treatment 5' also. But beware, it is different.
