Tech-house has become a mature genre within the last few years and the Low Pressings imprint have always been at the forefront of this primarily English new wave of techno-with-a-heart. Their releases skip from classic house sounds, over more techno-inspired releases to the occassional jazzy or Afro-groove trip and have acquired a lasting spot in my recordbox. And this first longplayer from the much praised Peace Division is bound to conquer my and your heart once again. Eight pumping tracks that encompass everything from heavy Windy City soundalikes that wouldn't fit badly in a set by Dj Sneak, over more breakbeat-inspired excursions, to minimal Motorcity engines, with the only common denominator being driving and funked-up percussion samples. Run to your nearest recordshop and make waves for a copy 'cause there is nothing on these two pieces of vinyl that will disappoint the avid soulsearcher in you.
